Lemon Iced Raspberry Cookies
1 cbutter or margerine
1 1/2 cpowered sugar
2 tspraspberry flavoring
2 1/2 call purpose flour
1 tspbaking soda
1 tspcream of tartar
4drops of red food coloring
·powered sugar & real lemon juice
·red or yellow sugar crystals
How to Make Lemon Iced Raspberry Cookies
- Mix powered sugar, butter, raspberry flavoring & egg in a large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover & chill for at least 2 hours.
- I use a large cookie scoop to make the cookies the same size. Place on a lightly greased or lined cookie sheet with parchman paper. Flatten the cookies before you bake them. I use the bottom of a 1 cup measuring cup! (I use parchman paper).
- Heat oven to 375F
- Bake 4:30 min, turn sheet & bake 4:30 more
- Glaze: mix enough powered sugar & real lemon juice to spreadable consistency, ice cookies & then add colored sugar on top...ENJOY!
