Ingredients

  • 6 oz
    brown sugar
  • 5 oz
    unslated butter
  • 7 1/2 oz
    dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 6 oz
    all-purpose flour
  • 5 oz
    pecans, finaly chopped

How to Make Lacy Pecan Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. 1) Combine the sugar, butter, corn syrup and vanilla in a large, heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil
  2. Mix the salt, flour and nuts together
  3. As soon as the sugar mixture comes to a boil, start timing it. Let it boil for 1 minute. Remove from the heat and stire in the flour-nit miture. pour into a hotelpan and cool completely.
  4. use a small potion scoop to make equal -sized balls of dough. Flatten out the balls of dough and placeon a silicone baking mat oro paper - lined sheet pans
  5. bake at 350%F (160%C) until very dark brown and no longer moist in center approximately 15 to 18 minites. Remove from oven and shape as desired
