These are positively my favorite cookies. The original recipe was on the back of the bag of chips, but I made it my own.

These cookies come out perfect every time.

all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
3/4 c
butter (1-1/2 sticks)
3/4 c
packed brown sugar
1/3 c
granulated sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1
large egg
2 c
(12 oz. bag) white chocolate chips
1 c
flaked coconut
3/4 c
walnuts

How to Make Kitty's White Chip Island Cookies With Walnuts

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium sized bowl
  • 3Cream together butter, sugars and egg, than add vanilla
  • 4Slowly stir in flour mixture in intervals
  • 5Stir in coconut, chips and walnuts
  • 6Use small scoop to place dough evenly on baking sheet
  • 7Bake 8 1/2 - 11 minutes at 350 degrees
  • 8Remove cookies from baking sheet and cool on waxed paper
