quick chocolate cookies
Started making these cookies when my children were in school and would say at the last minute- Oh I need cookies for school tomorrow- I forgot to tell you- It's my turn to bring treats. That was some 45 yrs. ago. Betty Crocker to the rescue, cake mix that is!

Ingredients
- 18 ounces cake mix, dry --any flavor
- 2 cups thawed whipped topping
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts, or coconut or chocolate chips
- - powdered sugar
How To Make quick chocolate cookies

Step 1Combine dry cake mix, thawed topping and egg.(no liquid needed). Mix in any 1/2 cup additions you desire or none. Form into balls the size of a large walnut then roll in powdered sugar. Place on lightly sprayed cookie sheet. Press down slightly. Bake at 350^ in preheated oven, for 8-10 minutes. Cookie will be crinkled white like snow flakes.
