I had a bunch of milk chocolate bars leftover from Halloween. I decided to make a cookie and include Kahlúa. I combined a combination of a chocolate cookie dough, Kahlua, and milk chocolate candy bars. The combination of Kahlua with the milk chocolate together. The taste is outstanding . They are soft and really delicious. Enjoy!

Ingredients For kahlua hershey bar cookies

  • 3/4 c
    packed light brown sigar
  • 1
    stick of softened butter
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1

    pinch of salt about 1/4 tsp
  • 4 Tbsp
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 6 oz
    chopped milk chocolate candy bars. such as dove or hershey.
  • 1/2 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts if desired
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder

How To Make kahlua hershey bar cookies

    Heat oven to 350 degree's Parchment line or grease cookie sheet. Chop up the candy bar or bars and set aside.

    Beat sugar and butter together on low until mixture is smooth and well combined.

    On low speed. Beat in the Kahlua. Add in the egg and combined.

    Add in the flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa powder. Beat on low until combine. Do not over mix.

    Add in the chopped milk chocolate bar, and nuts if desired. Mix well with a spoon. Refrigerate for 15-30 minutes until vhilled.

    Optional: mix powdered sugar and cocoa together in a bowl. Roll cookie balls in powdered sugar mixture before baking.

    Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Let cookies cool on pan before moving to platter.
