I came up with this recipe a couple of years ago. Everyone raves about these especially when I make enough to take to my work. Everyone says they are better than bakery bought! You could use different types of pudding mix to create your own masterpiece. I hope you and your family will enjoy this as much as mine do.

butter or margarine melted
3/4 c
brown sugar, light
1/4 c
1 pkg
3.5 oz instant vanilla pudding
egg yolk
1 Tbsp
light corn syrup
1/2 Tbsp
pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
baking soda
2 1/2 c
all purpose flour
2 c
semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips

How to Make Jackie's Famous Big Chocolate Chunk Cookies


  • 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • 2Combine melted butter or margarine and sugars. Add the pudding mix, egg and yolk, vanilla and corn syrup.
  • 3In another bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Add to the batter little at a time just until blended. Don't mix too much or the cookies will turn out too tough. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  • 4Scoop onto lightly sprayed cookie sheets using a 1/4 measuring cup. Six cookies per sheet is recommended. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
