I came up with this recipe a couple of years ago. Everyone raves about these especially when I make enough to take to my work. Everyone says they are better than bakery bought! You could use different types of pudding mix to create your own masterpiece. I hope you and your family will enjoy this as much as mine do.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, light
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package 3.5 oz instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 - egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips

How To Make jackie's famous big chocolate chunk cookies

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Step 2
Combine melted butter or margarine and sugars. Add the pudding mix, egg and yolk, vanilla and corn syrup.
  • Step 3
In another bowl combine all the dry ingredients. Add to the batter little at a time just until blended. Don't mix too much or the cookies will turn out too tough. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  • Step 4
Scoop onto lightly sprayed cookie sheets using a 1/4 measuring cup. Six cookies per sheet is recommended. Bake for 16-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
