baking soda
1 c
applesauce, unsweetened
1 c
flax seeds ground
2/3 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 c
granulated sugar
large egg
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
grape nut cereal
2 c
oats, quick cooking
1 c
cranberries, dried

How to Make Healthy Grape-Nuts Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies Read


  • 1Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • 2Mix flour and backing soda in small bowl.
  • 3In separate bowl, mix applesauce and flax seed.
  • 4Gradually add sugars, beat until well mixed.
  • 5Beat in egg and vanilla.
  • 6Gradually add flour mixture, beating well after each addition.
  • 7Stir in oats, cereal and cranberries.
  • 8Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 9Bake 8 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 10Cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheets.
  • 11Cool completely on wire racks
