Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup peanut butter, creamy or chunky
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup bran
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- EQUIPMENT
- - ungreased cookie sheet
- - wire rack, for cooling cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Melt butter.

Step 3Beat together with the sugars, vanilla, peanut butter and eggs.

Step 4In a separate bowl, combine the flour, bran, oats and baking soda.

Step 5Stir mixture into butter mixture.

Step 6Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 7Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes.

Step 8Remove to a wire rack to cool.
