Grandma's Bourbon balls

I've been making these bourbon balls at Christmas for years, I found this recipe in my Grandma's old recipes when I inherited her recipe collection.

  • 1 c
    vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1 c
    pecans, finely chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    white corn syrup
  • 1/4 c
    bourbon, rum, or spiced rum
  • ·
    powdered sugar

How to Make Grandma's Bourbon balls


  1. Combine dry ingredients.
  2. Blend bourbon and corn syrup.
  3. Mix all ingredients.
  4. Shape into 1 inch balls.
  5. Roll in powdered sugar.
  6. Refrigerate.
