My Grandson, Finley, visited recently and absolutely loved these cookies.They are soft and "yummy". He is 8 years old but he knows what he likes. At the moment it is Grandma's Sugar Cookies.

Ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup oleo
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 - eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda

How To Make finley's favorite sugar cookies

Step 1

Cream sugar, oleo and oil. Add eggs.

Step 2

Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Add to creamed mixture.
Step 3

Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with bottom of drinking glass dipped in sugar. (put small amt of butter on bottom of glass)
Step 4

Bake at 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes. Yields about 5 dozen cookies.
