I copied this down from a cookbook years ago. It had been published by a women in Virginia. If you like almond, these are a must!

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 6 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- FILLING
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 8 ounces almond paste
- sliced almonds
How To Make dutch treats

Step 1Using mixer, cream butter and cheese. Gradually add the flour. Cover and refrigerate one hour.

Step 2Roll into one inch balls. Press dough into mini muffin pan cups. Greased.

Step 3Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar and mix well.

Step 4Cube the almond paste into small pieces and beat into mixture.

Step 5Spoon a rounded teaspoon into each cup. Top each with three almonds.

Step 6Bake at 325 for 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool for ten minutes before removing to cooling rack. Yields 10 dozens
