Devil's food cake mix sandwiches a rich caramel and chocolate chip filling.

These are wonderful rich brownies and anyone who likes carmel and chocolate will love these. They are so rich I separate them on wax paper and put them in freezer conatiners so I can take just a few out at a time.

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13-inch baking pan. In mixing bowl with electric mixer, beat cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter for 1 minute. Mix in nuts. Press half the batter into prepared pan. Bake until set, 10 to 15 minutes. In a medium bowl, stir together caramel topping, flour and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
