Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    buttery crisco solid shortening
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar,packed
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 3/4 c
    old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 c
    sweetened dried cranberries,chopped
  • 1 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    mini chocolate chips

How to Make Deluxe Walnut, Chocolate Chip,Oatmeal Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350^. Coat baking sheets with no stick cooking spray.
    Beat shortening and sugars in a large bowl at medium speed until blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients in a small bowl;and Beat into shortening mixture until smooth. Stir in oats, cranberries, chips and nuts. Drop rounded Tablespoonfuls about 2-inches apart on baking sheets.Bake 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Remove cookies to wire rack or paper to cool completely. Great with coffee , tea, hot cocoa or milk.
