dee-licious peanutty butter cookies with chips
The usual peanut butter chocolate chip cookie just doesn't have enough peanut butter flavor for me. I have tweaked this recipe over the years and I think they are perfect this way and have been making them like this for the past 10 years. I hope u enjoy them as much as we do.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup butter flavored crisco
- 1-3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups peanut butter, creamy
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3-1/2 cups unbleached white flour
- 1-1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1-1/2 cup chopped pecans, walnuts or peanuts(optional)
- 3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

Step 2In large mixer bowl cream first 5 ingredients until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.

Step 3Sift dry ingredients together. Slowly incorporate into creamed mixture until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.

Step 4Scoop onto cookie sheets 2" apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 9-10 minutes or until light brown. Do not overbake to a med or dark brown or they won't be chewy. Let cool 10 minutes on cookie sheet. Finish cooling on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
