  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 cup of macademia nuts
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 3/4 cup apple sauce
  • 1/2 cup raw honey
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon almond oil
  • 3/4 cup steel cut oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup gluten free flour
  • 1/2 cup egg whites
  • 5 ounces finely chopped dark organic chocolate
  • 3/4 cup chocolate protein powder

How To Make dark chocolate oatmeal ginger cookies

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large mixing bowl; mix then sift gluten free flour, protein powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and baking powder together.
  • Step 2
    In another mixing bowl melt dark chocolate. Stir in almond oil, almond milk, ginger, vanilla extract, and apple sauce. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the liquid contents and stir.
  • Step 3
    Stir in raisins, honey, chopped macadamia nuts, oatmeal, and egg whites. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, place 2 tablespoons serving of the batter in columns or rows. Ensure there is at least two to three inches in between each cookie. Bake for 20 minutes.
