    of macademia nuts
  • 1 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins
  • 3/4 c
    apple sauce
  • 1/2 c
    raw honey
  • 1 c
    almond milk
  • 1 tsp
    almond oil
  • 3/4 c
    steel cut oatmeal
  • 1/2 c
    gluten free flour
  • 1/2 c
    egg whites
  • 5 oz
    finely chopped dark organic chocolate
  • 3/4 c
    chocolate protein powder

How to Make Dark Chocolate Oatmeal Ginger Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large mixing bowl; mix then sift gluten free flour, protein powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and baking powder together.
  2. In another mixing bowl melt dark chocolate. Stir in almond oil, almond milk, ginger, vanilla extract, and apple sauce. Slowly add the dry ingredients to the liquid contents and stir.
  3. Stir in raisins, honey, chopped macadamia nuts, oatmeal, and egg whites. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper, place 2 tablespoons serving of the batter in columns or rows. Ensure there is at least two to three inches in between each cookie. Bake for 20 minutes.
