I myself don't eat oatmeal raisin but have many friends that love them. One of my customers Jenny gave me this recipe it is one of her all time favorite and mostly used recipes that she used when she had her restaurant, The brown cow drive in.

I added " Da Bomb" to the title because when one of my friends taste tested these she said they are "Da "bomb".

  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1 3/4 c
    shortening
  • 3 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/4 c
    2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 c
    oatmeal, quick cooking or regular.
  • 1/2 tsp
    cloves
  • 3/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 3 1/2 c
    raisins

How to Make "Da Bomb" Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
