Ingredients
- 1 cup soft butter
- 1/3 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups flour
- CREAM FILLING
- 1/4 cup butter softened
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - food coloring
How To Make cream wafers

Step 1preheat oven to 375

Step 2mix butter, cream and flour until well blended. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.

Step 3roll dough 1/8 inch thick on floured surface. Cut into tiny shapes with mini cookie cutters.

Step 4IMPORTANT- prick each cookie a few times with fork tines or tooth pick prior to baking. Put onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 minutes until bottoms are light brown.

Step 5FILLING Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Tint with pastel colors as desired. Sandwich filling between two wafers.
