Simply and delicious. Incredibly easy dough to put together with wonderful results. I love these cookies at Christmas time especially. This is a family recipe given to me by my Aunt Becki Jo.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter, softened
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    toasted almond slices
  • 1/2 c
    dried cranberries
  • 1 tsp
    almond extract
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How to Make Cranberry Almond Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg; beat well. Blend in extract. Add flour and salt (already combined) to creamed mixture. Stir in cranberries and almond slices.
  3. Drop teaspoonful size dough mounds onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes.
