granulated sugar
1 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
vanilla extract
2 c
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
1/2 tsp
baking powder
2 c
1 c
butterscotch chips
1 c
walnuts, chopped

How to Make Cowboy Cookies


  • 1Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
  • 2Combine dry ingredients and gradually add to butter mixture.
  • 3Stir in butterscotch chips and walnuts. Drop onto baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack. Store in airtight container.
