I love the soft texture and the spicy flavors of the cinnamon and nutmeg. You could use this recipe(-nutmeg) as your "go to" cookie base and add your favorite chips, nuts, etc. to create your own masterpiece. Enjoy! Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 package hershey's cinnamon baking chips

How To Make cinnamon chip cookies

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and nutmeg; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in cinnamon chips.
  • Step 2
    Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
