3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
2 - eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda in 2 tsp of hot water
2 cups oatmeal
2 packages (small) chocolate chips (or 1 lrge pkg)
1 cup chopped nuts
1 teaspoon vanilla

How To Make christmas cookies

Step 1

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES IN SMALL PAN, PLACE DATES (CHUNKS) IN WATER, BOIL UNTIL SOFT AND MUSHY. LET COOL

Step 2

MIX TOGETHER THE FOLLOWING INGREDS. CHERRIES, BUTTER, BRN & WHITE SUGAR, EGGS, FLOUR, B SODA. VAN. MIX WELL. THEN STIR IN THE COOLED DATES, CHOC. CHIPS, NUTS, & OATMEAL. MIIX WELL.
Step 3

BAKE 375 DEGREES FOR 10-12 MINS.
