Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

How To Make chocolate snickerdoodles

  • Step 1
    Combine the dry ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Step 2
    Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Step 3
    Add eggs and vanilla.
  • Step 4
    Add dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
  • Step 5
    Roll dough into balls. Place the balls onto two parchment lined baking sheets.
  • Step 6
    Bake in a 400 degrees oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
