This recipe has been around for a long time but it is still one of my favorites!

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- (1/2 c.) stick butter, cubed
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 tablespoon imitation vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts, coarsely chopped
How To Make chocolate no bake cookies

Step 1Combine sugar, butter, half and half, and cocoa in heavy saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat. Stir and bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Add peanut butter, stirring until melted. Stir in vanilla, oats, coconut, and nuts. Use a cookie scoop and drop cookies onto waxed paper or parchment paper. Cool until firm. Makes 2 1/2 dozen. Note: Sometimes I freeze these cookies in ziploc bags especially if I make them around Christmas.
