This recipe began as White Chip Chocolate Cookies. I was out of white chips one day and subsituted Green Mint Chips and it was a success in house so it has stayed ever since. They taste just like girl scout cookies

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    baking cocoa
  • 2/3 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 2 c
    guittard green mint chips

How to Make Chocolate Mint Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine: Flour, cocoa,baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar,brown sugar, and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in mint chips.
  2. Drop by well-rounded teaspoonsuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 9-11 minutes.
  3. Let stand 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
