chocolate macaroons
These are my favorite cookies. I've seen them chocolate snowballs, chocolate crinkles and chocolate snowflake cookies. Whichever name you call them these are delicious cookies.

Ingredients
- COMBINE:
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 4 ounces (1 box) baker's unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- BEAT IN:
- 4 - eggs, one at a time
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- SIFT AND ADD:
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups flour
How To Make chocolate macaroons

Step 1Combine ingredients as listed above. Chill dough at least 4 hours or over night.

Step 2Roll into small balls or use a melon scoop to measure dough. Roll balls in sifted powdered sugar.

Step 3Place balls one inch apart on greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and place on wire racks to cool. Cool completely before storing

Step 4I like to use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract. you can also use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp peppermint extract instead of 2 tsp vanilla.
