1/2 cbutter, melted
4 oz(4 squares) baker's unsweetened baking chocolate, melted
4eggs, one at a time
SIFT AND ADD:
2 tspbaking powder
How to Make Chocolate Macaroons
- Combine ingredients as listed above. Chill dough at least 4 hours or over night.
- Roll into small balls or use a melon scoop to measure dough. Roll balls in sifted powdered sugar.
- Place balls one inch apart on greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and place on wire racks to cool. Cool completely before storing
- I like to use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract. you can also use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp peppermint extract instead of 2 tsp vanilla.
