chocolate drop cookies
Another recipe from my great grandmother. So rich and chewy! They always remind me of the Little Debbie Fudge Rounds but just the cookie part.

How To Make chocolate drop cookies
-
1Preheat oven to 350°F.
-
2Using a mixer, beat butter until creamed. Add sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
-
3Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well combined and fluffy.
-
4In a seperate bowl, sift together flour, hershey cocoa, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and beat until fully incorporated, scrapping sides and bottom if needed.
-
5By hand, stir in chocolate chips, stirring well.
-
6Scoop onto parchment lined baking sheets, pr very greased, evenly spaced as theu will spread so dont over crowd. I use medium size cookie scoop.
-
7Bake for 8-10 minutes. Allow to sit on baking sheets for at least 2 minutes before removing to cooling racks. These puff up during baking but flatten as they cool.
-
8Store in a container with a tight lid. I am not sure how long they will last because they always get eaten in 2 days.
