chocolate chip peanut butter cookies
This recipe makes nice soft cookies. It is not a crumbly dry cookie. The combination of peanut butter with the milk chocolate is extra tasty.

Ingredients
- 1 cup smooth peanut butter like jiff or skippy
- 1 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 11/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powdet
- 2 cups good quality milk chocolate chips
How To Make chocolate chip peanut butter cookies

Step 1Mix peanut butter, butter and both sugars in a bowl until smooth.

Step 2Add in the eggs and vanilla. Beat on low until combined well.

Step 3In another bowl. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder.

Step 4Add half of sifted mixture to peanut butter mixture. Beat together on low. Add remaining flour. Mixture. Beat together on low until no traces of flour show.

Step 5Add chocolate chips. Mix together well.

Step 6Chill dough in refrigerator for 2- 3 hours.

Step 7Heat oven to 350 degree’s.

Step 8Make twelve 2 inch balls from dough. Refrigerate remaining dough until 1st batch is baked.

Step 9Place balls on parchment lined pan or ungreased sheet pan.

Step 10Press on cookie balls with a fork lengthwise and widthwise.

Step 11Bake at 350 degree’s 12 minutes or until bottoms of cookies are browned. Let cool on pan 5 -10 minutes before moving to rack to finish cooling.
