They are sooo soft and flavorful. One of the best I've ever made and who hasn't made tons of choc. chip cookie recipes but these are requested all the time. We love soft cookies especially. They freeze well too. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup 2 sticks "i can't believe it's not butter"
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - extra large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 - 12 oz. package milk chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip cookies(soft and low fat) by rose

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 Beat 2 sticks of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter in bowl of electric mixer along with the sugars until smooth. Beat in vanilla, egg and baking soda. Stir in flour until blended only. Stir in chips. Drop by HEAPING tablespoons 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. I use silpat or parchment paper anyway. Bake 10 to 14 minutes depending on your oven and only until edges are golden. Remove and cool 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely. they freeze well also. Enjoy.
