I have several recipes for chocolate chip cookies, and this is by far THE BEST!

Ingredients

1 c
butter, softened
1 1/3 c
sugar
2/3 c
packed brown sugar
2
eggs
1 1/2 tsp
vanilla
3 c
flour
1 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
12 oz
semi sweet chocolate pieces

How to Make Chocolate Chip Cookies

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla.
    Beat until light and fluffy.
  • 2Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
    Stir in chocolate pieces.
  • 3Drop by teaspoonful's onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    I use a small cookie scoop, to keep size uniform.
  • 4Bake in the upper third of the oven, at 350 degrees,
    for 10 to 12 minutes, or until set.
  • 5*** Cookies do not brown very much.
    The texture is soft when removed from the oven,
    but slightly crisp and chewy when cool.
