Sherry brought these yummy bar cookies to Robin's house 8-18-18 when we had the family get together. They were absolutely amazing, and I would have sworn they had coconut in them (so I might try adding some when I bake them! LOL).

brown sugar

baking soda
1 tsp

baking powder
1/2 tsp

salt

oatmeal
16 oz

chocolate chips
1 Tbsp

water (i omitted)

How To Make chocolate chip bar, sherry's

Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Sift and add flour, soda, powder and salt. Add oatmeal and chocolate chips. Add water.

Press into greased jelly roll pan. (Mine is the silver 11x16, measured edge to edge, and it was perfect). Bake at 350 degrees 20-25 min. Mine took 10 min longer.
