  • 2/3 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour, plus
  • 2 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract

How to Make Chicago Public School Cafeteria Butter Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla extract.
  3. Mix in flour in small increments.
  4. Roll dough into balls; flatten on ungreased cookie sheets.
