Ingredients

  • 8 oz
    semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2/3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 3/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 12 oz
    package semi-sweet chocolate chunks

How to Make Chewy Chocolate Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt 8 oz. semi-sweet chocolate and butter.
  3. Whisk together flour and baking powder.
  4. Beat eggs, brown sugar and vanilla on high speed until light and fluffy.
  5. Reduce speed to low and add melted chocolate.
  6. Mix in flour until just combined. Stir in semi-sweet chocolate chunks.
  7. Drop by heaping tablespoon on parchment lined baking sheets.
  8. Bake, rotating sheets halfway through, until cookies are shiny and a bit soft in the center, 12 to 15 minutes.
  9. Cool on baking sheet 10 minutes; transfer to wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
