Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 teaspoons maraschino cherry juice
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped
- 36 milk chocolate kisses
How To Make cherry kiss cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2In a large bowl beat butter and sugar, until blended.

Step 3Beat in cherry juice and almond extract.

Step 4Gradually beat in flour.

Step 5Fold in cherries.

Step 6Scoop dough in balls and place on baking sheet.

Step 7Bake 10 - 12 minutes.

Step 8Upon removing from oven press one kiss into each cookie.

Step 9Cool on baking sheet 2 minutes.

Step 10Remove to wire rack to cool.
