This is one of my Grandma's recipes . I have not personally made these but have ate them many times when I was growing up. They are very good and if someone doesn't like chocolate the carob is powder from the ground seeds and pods of the carob tree; used as a chocolate substitute. Carob is rich in calcium, potassium and phosphorus. It is used as a natural sweet to take the place of sugar, chocolate and cocoa.
