I don't recall if Aunt Margie gave this recipe to mom, or mom gave it to Aunt Margie. All I know is they both made this for me when I was young, and I absolutely love it!

Ingredients For caramel morsel bars

  • 14 oz
    bag caramel
  • 2 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 c
    peanuts
  • 5 c
    oatmeal
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips
  • 1 c
    semisweet chocolate chips

How To Make caramel morsel bars

  • 1
    Melt caramel with water until smooth. Pour over cereal and nuts and coat well. With greased fingers, press into greased 9x13. Sprinkle with chips. Bake at 200 degrees 5 min. Spread melted chips to form frosting.
