This is a delightful cookie candy. If you love caramel and coconut, you will be in heaven. We used to have a treat like this at our candy store. It was a large square marshmallow dipped in caramel and rolled in coconut.

  • 1 1/2 c
    confectioners' sugar, sifted
  • 1 c
    salted peanuts
  • 2 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 c
    flaked coconut

  • Caramels, butter, and half and half in a glass bowl.

    In a 2-quart glass measure, place caramels, butter, and half and half.
  • Glass bowl in the microwave.

    Cook on high for 5 minutes in the microwave.
  • Stirring after 3 minutes.

    Stir after 3 minutes. Cook until melted and smooth.
  • Stirring in confectioners' sugar.
