These cookies are so yummy, no one would ever believe you used a cake mix. They are perfect for taking to a potluck! And they are so easy to make, the kids will love helping you whip up a batch.

Ingredients

1 package cake mix, any flavor
1 - egg
1/2 - of an 8 oz container of cool whip, thawed
1/2 cup powdered sugar

How To Make cake mix cookies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first three ingredients in large mixing bowl. Stir until a sticky dough forms.

Step 2

Dust hands with powdered sugar and shape dough into 3/4 inch balls. Coat each ball with powdered sugar and place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Step 3

Bake for 10 minutes, or until done (soft but firm). Remove cookies to cooling rack to cool completely.
