butterscotch cashew clusters
This recipe is from my daughter-in-law. These cookies are totally awesome! When I make them with the grandkids, I have to make two batches, because we eat one batch before they're even done.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup salted cashews or other salted nuts
- 2- 6oz packages butterscotch morsels
- 1 cup raisins - (optional)
How To Make butterscotch cashew clusters

Step 1Cream butter and sugar.

Step 2Add flour and mix until a firm dough forms.

Step 3Stir in cashews.

Step 4Crumble mixture onto a cookie sheet.

Step 5Bake at 375* for 12 - 15 minutes until golden brown

Step 6Cool the baked cookie-nut mixture.

Step 7Melt butterscotch morsels.

Step 8Break the cookie-nut mixture into small pieces.

Step 9Add the cookie-nut mixture to the butterscotch morsels. (If you're adding raisins - add them now).

Step 10Stir mixture until everything is coated.

Step 11Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Step 12Chill for 15 minutes or until set.
