buckeye ritz

I make these buckeyes on a regular basis, but I wanted to do something different with them so I added the ritz crackers as a bonus. Hope you love em!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powder sugar
  • 3 - sleeves ritz crackers
  • 1 package semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 package chocolate bark
  • 2 tablespoons crisco

How To Make buckeye ritz

  • Step 1
    Melt butter and peanut butter in microwave for one minute.
  • Step 2
    Remove from microwave and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Step 3
    Add powder sugar and blend together.
  • Step 4
    Lay out ritz on wax paper with salt side up. Add a small spoon full on each ritz cracker then add another cracker salt side down on top and press slightly.
  • Step 5
    Put in freezer for about 30 minutes.
  • Step 6
    Melt the chocolates and Crisco until smooth.
  • Step 7
    Remove from freezer and dip into the chocolate. Return to freezer until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy
