How To Make browned butter white chocolate sugar cookies
-
Step 1If you haven't yet, brown your butter. Allow to cool to room temperature. Preheat oven to 350. Line cookie sheets with parchment if desired.
-
Step 2Cream together butter, (every last lil bit of the butter, scrape all those lil bits into your bowl.) shortening and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla, until creamy.
-
Step 3Mix in flour, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar. Then gently stir in chips. Scoop and shape into balls, roll in sugar. I would've used raw sugar for rolling, if I'd had some. Place onto prepared cookie sheets, flatten slighty and bake 12-16 min depending on size of your scoop. 1/4 c scoop is 16 min.
