This is an old family recipe from my great Aunt.

Ingredients

1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup butter
1 - egg
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup ground pecans

How To Make brown sugar cookies

Step 1

preheat oven to 375

Step 2

cream butter and sugars. add egg.
Step 3

In separate bowl, add flour, soda and salt. Add to butter mixture one cup at a time. Beat until well blended. Fold in nuts.
Step 4

Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
