  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 1
    egg (well beaten)
  • 1 tsp
  • 3/4 c
  • dash
  • 1/4 tsp

How to Make Brown Edge Wafers


  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and lemon extracts.
  2. Add egg and mix well.
  3. Add flour and salt and mix well.
  4. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon onto lightly greased cookie sheet. leave enough space apart for cookies to expand. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are brown.
