What a wonderful surprise as I scanned the mail fliers today! I usually just pull out the coupon section..but today I looked at the various adds for any new and surprising recipes that could be incorporated into my recipe box..and lo and behold I found this delicious looking and intriguing recipe for homemade brown sugar pizza and was up for the challenge! Try it and see if you don't think this would be a hit at any party kids or adults...I can smell it baking now!

Ingredients
- CRUST:
- 1 3/4 cups to 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 package fleischmann's pizza crust yeast or rapid yeast or a pre-made store crust
- 1 1/2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
- FRUIT FILLING:
- Note: - frozen fruit can be used in place of the fresh, but don't let it thaw before assembling the pizza.
- 6 ounces fresh raspberries (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon corn starch(argo)
- STREUSEL TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon(spice islands)
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine,softened
- 1/2 cup quick oats (not instant)
- FROSTING:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 to 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make berry brown sugar pizza

Step 1Preheat oven to 425^. Combine 1 cup of the flour, undissolved yeast, sugar and salt in a large bowl. Heat milk and butter until very hot. Add to flour and mix until blended, about 1 minute. Gradually add enough remaining flour to make a soft dough. Dough should form a ball and will be slightly sticky. Knead on a floured surface, adding additional flour if necessary, until smooth and elastic, about 4 minutes.

Step 2Pat dough with floured hands to fill greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Or roll dough on a floured counter to 12-inch circle; place in greased pizza pan or baking sheet. Form a rim by pinching the edge of dough. Cover with a towel and let rest 10 minutes.

Step 3Toss berries with sugar and cornstarch and let rest while preparing streusel topping. --- Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in oats. Spread fruit over ready pizza crust. Sprinkle streusel over fruit.

Step 4Bake on lowest oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until topping and crust are browned. Remove from oven and let cool on wire rack for 5 minutes. --- Combine powdered sugar, vanilla and enough milk to make a smooth consistency.Drizzle over pizza. Serve immediately.
