My granddaughters love these.
They have a great banana taste.
They're a cross between banana bread and a cookie w/ just a pinch of chocolate to make them interesting.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 3
    ripe, mashed bananas
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c
    finely chopped walnuts

How to Make banana bread cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 350. Line baking sheets w/ parchment paper. In lg bowl, cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in eggs. Beat in mashed bananas and vanilla until combined. Gradually beat in flour, baking soda and salt until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheets. Bake 12-15 min, or until light golden brown.
