How to Make Applesauce Raisin Cookies
- Preheat oven to 375.
Fit parchment paper to cookie sheet
Rehydrate raisins in 11/2 cup of hot water,until plump.(Raisins can be done ahead and drained)
Soften butter @ room temperature
- Add all dry ingredients into food processor bowl. Pulse 5-6 times. This aerates the dry mixture.
Mix egg,applesauce and softened butter together, add to food processor bowl. Pulse until well mixed.
- Remove blade.Drain and stir in raisins.
Arrange by spoonfuls on the cookie sheets and bake for 5-7 minutes or until lightly browned
