My Grandma made these every Christmas. These are the best cookies ever. I can eat them any time of the year, it doesn't have to be Christmas.

Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter, room temperature
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
How To Make adelaide's cocoons

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Cream butter and 1/4 cup of confectioner's sugar.

Step 3Add vanilla, almond extract, and water.

Step 4Blend in flour.

Step 5Add chopped pecans.

Step 6Form into small finger rolls by rolling in flour.

Step 7Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. These will not brown like a typical cookie.

Step 8While hot, roll in remaining confectioner's sugar.
