100 good cookies

This recipe came from my mother-in-law, Beth Wilcox. She was not only the BEST mother-in-law ever, but a wonderful cook. I have many of her recipes that I treasure.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup oleo
  • 1 - egg
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup rice krispies
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 3-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup raw oats
  • 1/2 cup pecans, in pieces
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

How To Make 100 good cookies

  • Step 1
    Cream sugars, oil, butter, egg and vanilla. Mix together flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar; stir well then add to creamed mixture. Add coconut,oats, nuts, cereal and chips.
  • Step 2
    Drop by teaspoons full onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 12 to 15 minutes or until brown. Makes around 100 cookies, hence the name!
