This recipe came from my mother-in-law, Beth Wilcox. She was not only the BEST mother-in-law ever, but a wonderful cook. I have many of her recipes that I treasure.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    oleo
  • 1
    egg
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 c
    coconut
  • 1 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp
    soda
  • 3-1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 c
    raw oats
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1/2 c
    chocolate chips

How to Make 100 Good Cookies

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream sugars, oil, butter, egg and vanilla. Mix together flour, salt, soda and cream of tartar; stir well then add to creamed mixture. Add coconut,oats, nuts, cereal and chips.
  2. Drop by teaspoons full onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for about 12 to 15 minutes or until brown. Makes around 100 cookies, hence the name!
