Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup plus 2 tbsp. sugar, divided
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons butter, unsalted, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup macadamia nuts, chopped
- 2/3 cup butter milk
- 1 large egg, light whisked
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make white chocolate macadamia nut scones

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 2In large bowl, combine flour, 1/3 cup of sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Using a pastry blender,(confession time, I use my fingers) cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add white chocolate chips and nuts; mix well.

Step 3In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk,egg,and vanilla extract. Add butter milk mixture to flour mixture, stirring until dough is just combined.

Step 4Drop by heaping teaspoonsful onto prepared baking sheets. Sprinkle with remaining sugar. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes till lightly browned. enjoy
