This recipe I just kinda opened the fridge and pantry and threw it all in a blender, taking the things I love in the morning... oatmeal, fruit and coffee!

How To Make vanilla banana and coffee breakfast power smoothie
-
Step 1Combine oatmeal, milk, yogurt, and protein powder in blender. Give it a quick 2 pulses in the blender. Add banana chunks, vanilla extract, benefiber (optional), wheat germ, flax, instant coffee, splenda and cinnamon. Blend until smooth. If you would like, you can pulse in 4-5 ice cubes, or pour over ice to keep cold and for consistency. Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg on top as an option.
-
Step 2Note: I use APC whey protein powder in chocolate that contains 25g protein in 1 scoup and low in sugar. Use what you like or what you have on hand. If you prefer to NOT use a protein powder, you can sub with Carnation Instant Breakfast or Ovaltine.
