My Steve loves banana splits, so I came up w/ a simple no-bake recipe that he fell in love with:)

Ingredients

graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c
unsalted butter, melted
12 oz
reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
1/4 c
sugar
8 oz
cool whip light, thawed
4 large
bananas, sliced
1
20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained
16 oz
strawberries, sliced
8 oz
cool whip light, thawed
1/2 c
chopped walnuts
chocolate syrup
maraschino cherries for topping

How to Make Steve's no-bake banana split.

Step-by-Step

  • 1Lightly spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and butter, mix well. Press crumb mix into bottom of baking dish. Refrigerate while preparing cream cheese mix.
  • 2In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in 8 oz of cool whip.Spread cream cheese mix over crumbs in baking dish. Arrange bananas in single layer over cream cheese mix.
  • 3Top bananas w/ pineapple and then layer w/ strawberries. Cover strawberries w/ remaining cool whip. Sprinkle w/ walnuts. Drizzle w/ chocolate syrup. Top w/ cherries. Refrigerate 2 hrs for flavors to meld.
